Leanna's death in Emmerdale sees fans spot huge 'mistake'

Fans were left shocked after Meena Jutla, played by Paige Sandhu, claimed her first Dales victim in the form of Leanna Cavanagh, played by Mimi Slinger.

Pushing the teen over the Humpback Bridge, Meena had confronted her after Leanna became suspicious of how Meena's best friend Nadine Butler really died.

Meena had been telling the village that her friend, who never reached the Dales, that she had taken her own life.

Yet Leanna discovered the truth and when she was given a bag containing evidence by Manpreet, Meena took matters into her own hands.

Asking the teen to return the bag, the evidence - a Pride collection tin and trinket box, fell out and Meena, in a desperate bid to keep her secret, pushed Leanna over the bridge.

Yet as the two tussled, fans were left baffled as to why Meena's DNA wasn't found on Leanna's body.

One baffled fan took to Twitter, writing: ‘All done and dusted within 24hrs with a murder investigation? What about the DNA the hair she pulled, the footprints on the bank when she went down to check on her, now ur gonna drag this storyline for ages’.

Another chimed in: 'I’m watching last nights Emmerdale and I’m like ?? How did the police find NO traces of Meena’s DNA on Leanna’s clothes??’

More were shocked to discover the death had been ruled as accidental as the bridge's wall is pretty high.

So could Emmerdale's resident murderer's story be about to unravel?
