Emmerdale viewers descended into chaos after they spotted a massive editing blunder on Tuesday evening’s instalment of the ITV soap.
Eagle-eyed spectators were quick to point out that the soap’s editors overlooked a mistake in the running order of the latest episode.
In the bizarre scenes, loveable character Luke asked Victoria if she would join him for a romantic meal later that evening to show her how much he loved her.
However, fans were quick to point out that the scene where Luke asks Victoria out aired several minutes after Victoria had already told her pal Amy that she was planning on spending the evening with her lover boy.
Taking to Twitter, baffled fans claimed that the episode had been edited in the wrong order.
Others insisted that Victoria has suddenly become psychic overnight.
One curious viewer tweeted: “Why has Luke just asked Vick out for dinner when Vicks told Amy they were going out earlier?”.
Another spectator echoed: “So, she said that she was going for dinner with Luke, and then later on Luke asks her for dinner as if she didn’t know...slight mix up Emmerdale?”
“Have Emmerdale edited that in the wrong order there?” someone else asked.
While a fourth fan quipped: “Either Victoria turned psychic overnight or else the person who edited Emmerdale tonight was half-asleep on the job. Lol!”
It comes after fans were torn up after it was revealed that Luke's sexuality will be explored and his relationship with Victoria will be called into question.
