Emmerdale fans spot 'creepy' character 'lurking' in the village

Many Emmerdale viewers were making similar comments as a "creepy" character was seen "lurking" during Monday's episode.

Caleb Dingle arrived in the fictional village on Boxing Day 2021 when he visited his brother Cain in prison. But since then fans of the show have been shown his true colours as he has been scheming with his son Nicky.

A dramatic twist that aired last month finally unveiled that Caleb is Frank Tate's long lost son. The character travelled to the Yorkshire Dales to claim Home Farm from Kim Tate as he believes it is rightly is.

Spoilers have revealed Kim and Caleb will team up to convince Moira to sell them Butlers, and Caleb continues to be an interested observer of Moira’s financial hardship.

On Monday, as Cain and Moira were discussing work and money, Caleb appeared as if from nowhere and stood behind them.

Fans at home found the scene unnerving. Taking to Twitter, Soph said: "How is Caleb already creeping in their house? Ffs man", while Pam said: "Caleb the king of lurking". Cath said: "Creepy Caleb just appearing again".

Owen said: "The director [to Caleb]: 'just stand there, walk in and interfere'."

Caleb later told Nicky he could "smell the money" and said he would see Cain and Moira right once they were in Home Farm.
