Emmerdale fans spot Chloe and Mack's baby lie 'rumbled' - as Charity 'already knows'

Emmerdale fans have been left suspicious that Charity Dingle may already know the truth of Chloe Harris’s baby on the ITV soap after scenes on Friday evening.

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Charity had a blazing row in the Woolpack in scenes at the end of the week as the strain of covering his one night stand had started to show.

Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), who is pregnant with his secret baby, had collapsed and landed in hospital as a result of a low-lying placenta.

After hearing that she had been staying in a hostel, Sarah and Charity tried to convince Chloe to come back to the village and she ultimately moved in with Charity.

However, given Chloe’s history with Charity’s son Noah, the cracks had started to show in the living situation by the end of the week.

Mackenzie, who has been left doubly uncomfortable given that Chloe is carrying his baby, confronted Charity about the situation and ended up inadvertently calling Charity a bad mother.

The slight left Charity thunderous as she told him to go back to her place and back a bag, adding: “Make sure you are gone by the time I get back.”

When she did later return and he hadn’t done so as he had nowhere to go, Charity kicked him out regardless as Chloe watched on, holding her growing baby bump.

The scenes have left several Emmerdale fans wondering whether Charity could already know the truth of his cheating and be using this as an opportunity to punish Mack.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Do we think Charity knows the truth about Mack and Chloe is playing him…”

Another added: “Charity is willing to kick Noah, her own son out of his own home for Chloe a practical stranger!! Why???

“This just doesn’t add up unless she knows and she’s doing this for her own benefit in seeking revenge.”

A third penned: “Surely Charity has to realise something isn’t right with Mack and why he doesn’t like Chloe.”

“This Chloe and Mack situation would be far more interesting if Charity knew the truth and was playing Mack this whole time,” another added. “(Just my opinion) than making her look like a fool with that idiot!”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV.
