Emmerdale fans spot Billy Fletcher blunder as he discovers Meena's lies

By Jasmine Allday

Emmerdale fans were left fuming with Billy Fletcher - after he made a glaring error on the ITV soap this week.

Billy has moved on with Dawn - and the pair are even engaged - but he was incredibly close to Meena and tried to keep friendly with her, especially after she told him she was pregnant with his child, and then had miscarried it in the Woolpack pub explosion.

However, it had all been lies and Meena was never pregnant in the first place, something which Dr Liam Cavanagh divulged to Billy during Wednesday night's show, leaving him understandably fuming.

Billy made a huge blunder (ITV)

Furious about what he had found out, Billy decided to call Meena and have it out with her. When he got through to her, she agreed to speak about it and asked him to come to the barn - where she was holding Vinny Dingle and Manpreet Sharma hostage - so they could chat about it and she could explain everything.

As he fumed and headed off to meet her, he made one huge mistake which left fans frustrated.

Billy and Dawn recently got engaged (ITV)

"Billy didn't tell Dawn and Liam where he was going WOW!" one Twitter user wrote.

As a second added: "Why didn't Billy tell them where he was going or for them all to go?" as a third shared: "Oh perlease! Liam just told Billy that he (a doctor!) has had concerns about Meena's mental health and she had become aggressive and Billy then gores off to meet her at a remote spot without telling anyone!!! Really??"

"Of course he didn't tell the Doc or Dawn where he was going!!!" a fourth wrote.

Meena managed to escape (ITV)

In dramatic scenes during last night's show, Meena managed to escape after an intense chase scene through the woods with Dr Liam, who has been left fuming at her after realising her lies.

She had lied to him last week about the miscarriage in a bid to get sleeping pills off him, which she had intended to drug her sister with and kill her off after she confessed all her crimes to Manpreet.
