Emmerdale fans slam show after despised Wendy saves Liv after seizure

Emmerdale fans have struck out the show for a controversial writing decision.

After Isobel Steele's Liv Flaherty suffered a seizure and head wound by the river - as she searched for missing brother Aaron Dingle - Susan Cookson's Wendy Posner was the one to find her and call an ambulance.

Wendy is mum to Lee and Luke - the former of which raped Victoria Sugden.

Victoria's now pregnant, with in-denial mum Wendy upping sticks to Emmerdale to be closer to her unborn grandchild.

While Victoria urges her to get out of town, Wendy stubbornly refuses to accept that Lee raped her.

Now fans have lashed out, claiming that last night's episode was an attempt "to make Wendy likeable."

"Stop trying to make Wendy likeable!!" one raged.

Another scolded the show for giving Wendy a redemption arc after Lee got Robert, Victoria's brother, locked up for attacking him.

They penned: "Wow this is a new low #emmerdale. Now do you really think we have to like Wendy now?

"Never happening. Because of her son Robert is in prison. Wendy is cancelled. You are not subtle. Disgusting."

A third wrote: "Yes, yes, Wendy would be lovely were she not stalking her son's rape victim in an attempt to force her way into the baby's life."

A fourth demanded: "Stop trying to make Wendy happen!"

Meanwhile, actor Andrew Scarborough has been teasing fans with small details of the upcoming Christmas episode.

Speaking about a scene in which his character Graham Foster - who's set to meet a grisly end - storms into Home Farm's Christmas dinner , he said it'll be an emotion-heavy moment.

As he makes a confession to estranged wife Kim Tate following a secret DNA test, tensions will be running high.

Andrew said: "It makes him full of emotion and as Graham is not particularly great at handling emotion there's a lot of...spillage."
