Emmerdale fans slam Mack as 'he only has himself to blame' for divorce issue

Fans of Emmerdale have hit out at Mackenzie after he appeared to try to get back in with both Chloe and Charity.

Chloe made it clear early on in the episode that she wanted to try to start a relationship with Mackenzie, the father of her child Reuben. In the meantime, Charity appeared to try to cut off all links with him, saying she wanted a divorce.

This came after he spent time with her and began talking about organising a birthday party for her son. Eventually she got angry and asked for a divorce.

After spending some time sulking, Mackenzie went to meet up with Chloe and said that while he wanted to be involved in their son's life, he wasn't ready for a relationship. However, fans were furious with the character and said the whole situation was his fault.

@teenamassam said: "Mack has only got himself to blame, I don’t feel sorry for him…" Meanwhile, @itzzzo_ wrote: "Are we meant to feel for Mack because I don't he bought all this on himself."

@RyanTheSoapking added: "Mack acting like everything is normal with Charity.

"He really is so deluded. Good on you Charity for wanting a divorce from Mack - there is no coming back from this now."
