Emmerdale fans send message to Mackenzie after arrest as they work out who pushed Caleb after 'clue'

Emmerdale fans appear to have made their feelings about Mackenzie Boyd's new happy family plans with Chloe Harris after he was arrested for attempted murder. He has been accused of pushing Caleb Milligan after he was seen tumbling off a woodland ridge before being left for dead by the mystery assailant.

It is fair to say that Celeb, who arrived in the village in December as Cain Dingle's long-lost brother, didn't have many fans before he was left fighting for his life last week having upset Cain, half-sister Chas, former fling Leyla Cavanagh, and Will Taylor during an outburst in The Woolpack.

After being thrown out of the pub by Chas, Caleb was seen walking away before being seen by himself in the woods, screaming into thin air as the frustrations of what's been happening, after his plan to bring Kim Tate down was exposed, became too much. But unbeknownst to him, a mystery figure had pursued him and as he let out his emotions on a woodland ridge, Caleb was suddenly pushed him over the edge.

His lifeless body was left sprawled on the ground below before he was found by Cain who got him help. But the police have since been questioning the suspicious main suspects, all who had a grip with Caleb before he was left fighting for his life in hospital.

And during Monday night's trip to the Dales (June 19), it was Mack who was arrested for the attempted murder of Caleb as he continues to receive treatment in the hospital with Chas remaining by his side.

The arrest came despite Mack confirming the police that Caleb slept with his ex-wife Charity Dingle and the pair did have an altercation the day before his accident But said that he went to his girlfriend Chloe's old house after he left the pub on the night Caleb was attacked.

Before the police arrived, Mack was seen hurrying to speak to Chloe, however, as he claimed to have been with her all night when Caleb was attacked, Chloe's story didn't match Mack's as she had already spoken to the police and hadn't given her new partner an alibi.

And the move has left Emmerdale fans telling Mack to ditch Chloe, who he has got into a relationship with after the birth of their son, Reuben. @_itz_josh_910 said: "Mack needs to ditch Chloe after that."

@nowling.sabrina commented: "Don't these people have cell phones. Chloe should have called Mack after her interview. Not liking her lately." @colliemad17611 added: "Oh chloe you'll have to pay all that rent on new house yourself now."

And viewers of the ITV soap feel like they have already worked out who was behind the push after spotting a 'clue'. @jconsultancyltd_ said: "Nicky and Caleb used to meet there, it’s Nicky that did it. Chloe is a horrid character."

@BenthamFans tweeted: "I’m guessing it’s Nicky what pushed Caleb for payback #Emmerdale." @ianto161 wrote: "We're going to suffer months of false accusations and arrests before we find out Nicky pushed Caleb." @BerniKennedy added: "I declare the winner of Who Pushed Caleb is Nicky the manny. #emmerdale."
