Emmerdale fans are convinced Jamie Tate will make an explosive return to the ITV soap - after Gabby found out he was alive.
In tonight's episode, Gabby overheard Millie giving a message to her son at the christening from their dad, after Millie's nan Hazel insisted to her she must not say anything to hint that Jamie was alive.
Jamie was last seen in the village when his car careered off into a lake, with everyone presuming he had died - although a body had never been found. However, he had secretly managed to escape from the village and went to live with Millie and Hazel in Hampshire, far away from the Yorkshire village he used to call his home.
Gabby was determined to get the truth about Jamie from Millie, but as she questioned her, Hazel stepped in and stopped them from finishing their conversation, meaning that Gabby wasn't able to find out more information.
However, she doesn't tell Kim Tate about what she heard, and instead she decided to ask Dawn Fletcher for some support, as she vowed to find Jamie and track him down.
Actress Rosie Bentham - who plays Gabby on the show - has explained how "shaken up" her character is when she heard about Jamie.
"Gabby is immediately shocked and really shaken up with what she's heard. It makes her panic. Jamie has been pushed to the back of her mind recently and she had let go of the obsession she had with him. To hear him being mentioned, and it coming from Millie, made her jump at wanting to find out more and get to the bottom of it," she explained to Digital Spy.
And Rosie has revealed she is very keen to have Alexander Lincoln - who played Jamie - return to the soap.
She added: "I think Alex coming back would be great. It would certainly kick off a lot of drama and would be really fun to watch that play out. And he hasn't met his son yet! I'd love for him to come back."
And now fans are expecting Jamie to make his return very soon, with one writing: "If this isn’t too bring Jamie back , then what is actually the point of all this #Emmerdale," as a second added: "if this jamie plot isnt to bring him back what is the point #Emmerdale."
A third shared: "How awesome would it be for Gabby and Dawn to team up and find Jamie and ruin his little “I am dead” secret."
