Emmerdale fans 'rumble' identity of Harriet's stalker after another attack

Emmerdale viewers believed they may have sussed out Harriet’s attacker, following another incident involving the mystery culprit.

Harriet was recently hit and pushed to the ground, and since then she’s been left worried someone had broken into her home.

In Tuesday’s episode, Dawn tried to reassure her as she remained jumpy in the village.

Then, she returned to the church to discover someone had vandalised it.

While the soap is no closer to revealing who the culprit is, fans have began to speculate the blame thrown at Dawn wasn’t a red herring after all.

Some viewers questioned if Dawn herself was behind the attack as revenge for their past, but one viewer then threw in the curveball that Dawn’s father could be the real villain.

Harriet had a romance with him back when Dawn was a kid, but she was actually working undercover to trap him.

She had him sent to prison, with Dawn put in care, and now fans believe this could be the key to Harriet’s ordeal.

Taking to Twitter , fans shared their early theories, with many admitting they thought there was more to the plot than it seemed.

One viewer said: “I think its quite obvious that Dawn's dad is Harriet's attacker…”

Another commented: “I’m not trusting Dawn... even though it’s a bit too obvious that she’s Harriet’s stalker.”

A third tweeted: “I think it's too obvious it's Dawn that mugged Harriet.. But could it be that obvious?”

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
