Emmerdale viewers think they might know what newcomer Faye could be hiding, after growing suspicious of her behaviour.
Faye was introduced as the new love interest of Mary Goskirk on the ITV soap, but she recently seemed to be hiding something.
While little has been revealed about her past and if she has a secret, like most newcomers tend to, fans picked up on her seeming distant with Mary in recent episodes.
Many were left convinced she wasn't actually that into Mary and could be using her for a mystery reason, after she appeared to have second thoughts.
Faye appeared to get past this though, and in the latest episode she joined Mary at a family lunch for her daughter Rhona Goskirk's birthday.
Faye seemed thrilled to have taken this step with Mary, and to finally meet her family.
But while many viewers were thrilled to see the pair looking so happy and loved up, others couldn't stop thinking there was more to her arrival.
Some viewers believed she was up to no good and that there was something "off" with the character.
There was even speculation that she could be linked to another big storyline on the ITV soap, involving Nicky and Caleb Miligan.
It was confirmed last week that Nicky is Caleb's secret son, and that Caleb's dad was none other than Frank Tate, the late ex-husband of Kim Tate.
With many guessing Faye might secretly be married, some fans suggested she could be Caleb's mystery wife that he is separated from.
Viewers began asking if Faye could even be Nicky's mystery mother, and that this could be why she is acting "strange" and secretive.
Mum or not, fans certainly couldn't help but wonder if she was in some way involved with Caleb and Nicky and their plan.
Taking to social media, one viewer said: "Faye possibly Nickys Mother, it couldn’t be any more outlandish than these story lines."
Another agreed: "Did this faye say she was doing something related to horses? #emmerdale is she in on this caleb/nicky saga."
A third fan said: "I think she's something to do with caleb and nicky," as a fourth wrote: "Maybe Faye is Nicky's mum."
The comments kept on coming too with another reading: "Yep Caleb’s wife," as a fifth comment read: "I think she is the wife and mam."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
