Emmerdale fans rage at Mack as he finally faces music with sick Reuben

Emmerdale fans have given love rat Mack both barrels as he finally faces up to the consequences of his selfish behaviour.

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) claims to be the father of Chloe Harris's critically sick baby Reuben. But Chloe (Jessie Elland) spurns Mack telling him Reuben will never be his son regardless of whether the stricken infant survives – which is looking decreasingly likely having contracted meningitis.

Mack, who is married to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), has wound up Emmerdale fans with his selfish actions. As well as his alleged affair with Chloe he's also been known to fence stolen goods.

"Although mackt**t is a cheating, lying, coward scumbag, one scene with Chloe has more chemistry than the whole 2.5 years with Charity. Hate him but he works with Chloe and pains me to say he was good showing the emotion tonight. It just shows how much cack don't work."

@sofaneilas said: "Emotional for Mack there - he must already feel like s**t."

@RyanTheSoapking said: "Well said Chloe! Mack deserves that harsh reality check...

"'Our son'. Yeah, when you pick and choose Mack. Chloe is right – you are really selfish."

@MattZeeMiller said: "What's the point turning up at the hospital if two minutes later you suddenly make excuses to leave? Selfish, self-centered coward as Chloe calls him. Oh yes!"
