Emmerdale fans say they know the identity of the person Mackenzie Boyd slept with is - but they are predicting a huge twist.
Mack is still struggling with the guilt after he cheated on Charity Dingle with another person following the loss of their baby. He slept with someone else and has been regretting it ever since it happened, with his guilt evident on the ITV soap tonight.
Talk amongst fans on Twitter has been rife as fans desperately try and work out who the person he slept with is, with Mack continuing to drop clues and hints about who it is. Now fans are sure they know who it is after a big confession.
As Nate quizzed who he had slept with, Mack refused to divulge their name but did give some telling clues.
"Nice try," he laughed, as he refused to drop the name, but Nate pressed on. "Someone I know? Because if it's someone from around here, it'll come out some how." As Mack confirmed it was another villager, Nate looked worried.
He added: "I thought my secret was safe and she lived miles away. You're going to be bumping into your secret every day in the pub, the pub that Charity runs," as he expressed his concerns for Mack.
However, Mack insisted they had "made him a promise", and that they would never divulge both his and their secret. "They made me a promise and I believe them. They will have way more to lose if this all got out," he insisted.
After he used 'they' to refer to the mystery person, fans are now sure there could be a big twist in the storyline.
One fan penned: "Mack keeps saying "they" hmm #emmerdale," whilst another added: "Did Mack do a 3 some he refers as 'they.'"
However, others were undecided on what it all meant
"Could be Kim Tate who was with Mack ….. #emmerdale," one wrote, with a fourth sharing: "Who ever Mack slept with has to be very close to home with Charity #Emmerdale." Another guessed: "I was thinking vanessa but what's she really got to lose? Then I'm suddenly thinking rhona," as another thought that Chas Dingle could be the mystery person.
The identity of Mack's lover is still being kept a closely guarded secret, but with the guilt he's feeling, it's likely only to be a matter of days before we find out exactly who he slept with. And if Charity finds out, how will she react?
