Emmerdale fans predict split for Nicola and Jimmy King after her secret phone call to nemesis

Emmerdale viewers have predicted that there could be trouble ahead for Nicola and Jimmy King after her secret phone call to Juliette.

Tonight, Nicola and Jimmy feared that son Carl had been kidnapped after he went missing.

However, it later emerged that Carl had actually contacted biological mum Juliette after receiving a note from her in the cafe with her number on it.

Juliette handed over son Carl, who she conceived after a mix-up at the fertility clinic, to Jimmy back in 2016 after being unable to look after him and left the Dales.

She has since returned and wants to have access to son Carl - something neither Jimmy and Nicola are happy about.

But after this evening's drama, and Juliette's threats to go to court, Nicola is keen to sort out the situation amicably.

At the end of this evening's episode, Juliette suggested to Nicola that they talk alone, without Jimmy.

Later, Jimmy insisted that he won't let Juliette mess with his family, but Nicola secretly called Juliette and arranges to meet her.

And viewers reckon that this could cause a major rift between the bickering couple.

One tweeted with a cringing emoji: "Nicola is going behind Jimmy's back."

While another commented: "Jimmy will go nuts when he finds out Nicola called Juliette behind his back."

A third wrote: "Why has Nicola done that behind Jimmy’s back? #emmerdale."

*Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with additional episodes at 8pm on Thursdays
