Emmerdale fans predict sinister ending for Charles after dad's arrival

In Thursday's episode of Emmerdale villagers welcomed a new cast member but fans are already getting a bad vibe from him.

Viewers in recent weeks have witnessed Emmerdale's resident vicar Charles, engage in shifty behaviour and secretive phone calls. However, on Thursday (June 8) Charles was shown visiting a high-security prison, leading to a tense encounter with Victor.

Victor was soon revealed to be Charles' father and has been freshly released from serving a long prison sentence. Leaving many unanswered questions floating round viewers heads.

But viewers were quick to comment on their dislike for the newest arrival to the village. Fans are already predicting a 'bad vibe' from Victor, saying they already know they aren't going to like him.

@perfwithsurf said: "#Emmerdale well Charles has a very dark past. It's about to catch up with him. His dad looks a real nasty piece of work"

@pam_debeauvoir wrote: "Charles dad....oh dear me. I don't like him already...my hackles are rising". @ShakyWoon tweeted: "The man released from prison that Charles has visited is his DAD! Eeekk!"

@homebrew19721 added: "Charles dad sounds a bit like phil mitchell" Fans are eager to find out the truth about Charles and his Dad, with speculation that he's got a bad past.

@Winis_World added: "Oh, so that's why Charles has been acting weird. He has a dark past? Interesting"

@deanobeanos tweeted: "Charles some ex drug dealer /murderer and whoever this is has taken / gotten the blame for it"
