Emmerdale fans are convinced Manpreet will die and Meena will continue her killing spree.
Viewers tuned into a special Christmas Day episode yesterday, where the famous Woolpack pub went up in flames in a huge explosion with both Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) and Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) feared dead.
However, viewers are predicting Manpreet will "conveniently" die, leaving Meena - who has already murdered Ben Tucker, Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and a friend named Nadine so far - to get away with her crimes once again.
After the devastating fire yesterday, fans of the ITV show are convinced Meena will once again get away with things - and they fear she might never get her comeuppance for what she's done.
One fan wrote: "I'm sure Manpreet will conveniently die. Meena will get up, retrieve the drugs which conveniently happened to land next to her, then carry on with her killing spree with still no one suspecting a thing. Beyond ridiculous now #Emmerdale."
" #Emmerdale Manpreet will die & Meena will just keep killing until there’s just her left in the village," another added, whilst a third shared: "Manpreet will die. Meena will get away with it. Stretching the boring story in to 2022."
Others want to see Meena put away for her crimes.
"What a brilliant episode, just hope they both haven't been killed as Meena needs her day in court, but brilliant acting with both of them, I was sitting at the edge of my seat," one fan wrote online.
A second added: "Meena better not die so she can get caught for what she’s done," whilst a third shared their thoughts on the whole thing: "I know Meena isn't gone it would be too easy."
"Don’t let Meena die this quick death we need stronger punishment for her," a fourth wrote, whilst a fifth concluded: "Just watched #Emmerdale . I hope Meena isn't dead because I really want to see her get her comeuppance."
Fans have been left fearing the worst for the siblings after Manpreet tried to reason with her sister.
"This isn't you," Manpreet pleaded, "I've known you all your life. You're selfish, yeah, but you're not all bad."
However, Meena cornered her, and grinned: "No one knows everything. There's always that little bit that you keep to yourself." She smashed a bottle and then held it up to her sister, adding: "Don't worry, I won't let you suffer for much longer."
