Viewers saw Moira advising Charity to step up and be a good mother to Noah.

While urging her to stop being so selfish, Cain stepped in to defend Charity against Moira's accusations.

He told her: "Stop having a go at her, she's always done what she wanted, so stop digging your heels in.

"Stop putting pressure on her. Just go."

Upset that Cain took Charity's side, Moira left - but was further heartbroken after seeing Cain snub her for the pub.

Emmerdale viewers were confused as to why Cain would take Charity's side while being so disrespectful to Moira.

Mike tweeted: "Why did Cain bother saying yes to Moira to getting back together when all he’s done since is ignore her and go against her opinions?"
