Emmerdale fans predict how sacked Asan N’Jie will be written out of soap

Emmerdale fans predicted how Asan N’Jie, who plays Ellis in the soap, would be written out of the show.

In tonight's episode fans saw Ellis's mum Jessie ramp up her plans to move to Dubai as a teacher after her ex offered to set her up with a job out there.

Jessie hasn't made up her mind to head to Dubai yet, but fans thought if she did that Ellis could go with her.

Ryan M said: "Send Jessie's son to Dubai as well."

@Primmacoffee said: "Elis will be gone as he is sacked, what about with Jessie."

Christopher Holmes said: "Dont worry Marlon jessie's plans will sure include ellis as he will be off to dubai too."

Asan was sacked by Emmerdale earlier today after getting into a fight with Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas at the TV Choice awards.

Shocking footage of the brawl came to light, which saw Asan being held back by his soap colleagues.

Today ITV released a statement saying they had terminated Asan's contract, they said: "Emmerdale suspended Asan N’Jie yesterday pending further investigation into an incident at a central London hotel on Monday night.

"ITV executives have met with him this morning and as a consequence Asan’s contract has been terminated with immediate effect."

Asan said in a statement: "My behaviour at the TV Choice Awards was completely unacceptable and very much out of character.

"I sincerely apologise to everybody who has been affected especially Jamie Lomas, the whole Emmerdale team, our audience, ITV, my family, and the organisers of the TV Choice Awards.

"I am devastated, accept full responsibility for my actions and I am determined to learn from this."
