Emmerdale teen Gabby Thomas was left fearing for her life and that of her unborn baby, as she was left in agony in the latest episode of the ITV soap - with fans fearing how the baby's father Jamie Tate will react.
The pregnant character, was clutching her stomach and wincing before falling to the floor.
Screaming out in agony, she hit the floor with it not clear what was wrong with her.
But it was Jamie's reaction to the moment and the possible risk towards the lives of Gabby and his unborn child, that alarmed viewers - with many worrying he would leave her without calling for help.
The commotion kicked off after she confronted him, realising he was trying to manipulate her into having an abortion.
Knowing she wanted to be with him, Jamie got closer to her despite loving Dawn Taylor and he pretended he wanted to be with her too.
But his game was exposed when Gabby spotted Dawn and Jamie admitting their feelings for one another.
When she confronted him about it, Jamie's true colours came to light as he admitted his ulterior motive for sticking by her.
Jamie found her later on, unaware that Gabby wasn't feeling well after becoming dizzy following their heated row.
As he asked her whether she had told his mum Kim what he'd done, Gabby began crying and was evidently in agony.
Jamie asked what was wrong, but was left shocked when she suddenly grabbed her stomach and fell to the floor.
As Gabby remained on the floor struggling in pain, the episode ended with Jamie just standing there watching her.
Taking to Twitter, fans were furious with Jamie for not acting quickly and getting help.
One fan wrote: "Why did Jamie just stand there and watch Gabby collapse in pain ?"
Another agreed: "Jamie just standing there while Gabby potentially miscarriages.. No wonder your daughter isn't with you."
A third added: "Gabby on the floor I have a feeling he leaves her there."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
