Emmerdale fans predict heartbreaking link between Chas' baby and Lisa Dingle

Emmerdale fans have predicted a heartbreaking twist for Chas Dingle's baby.

Last year, Chas and Paddy were left devastated after their daughter Grace died.

They discovered that she was suffering from bilateral renal agenesis, meaning that their baby would not survive outside the womb.

However the pair discovered the happy news that Chas was expecting again.

Meanwhile Lisa Dingle is set to return to Emmerdale for her final scenes after actress Jane Cox announced she would be leaving after 20 years.

Lisa will be killed off after suffering from a terminal heart condition.

And viewers have predicted that Lisa's death and Chas' baby's birth could air on the same day.

One tweeted: "Gonna guess Lisa dies the same day Paddy and Chas’ baby is born… #Emmerdale."

While another commented: "What ya betting Chas has the baby the same day that Lisa dies #Emmerdale."

A third remarked: "What’s the betting, Paddy and Chas’s baby birth coincides with Lisa’s death! #Emmerdale."

"So who thinks Lisa will die the day Chas and Paddy have their baby? Just a thought… #Emmerdale," another asked.

A plausible theory?

*Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with an additional episode at 8pm on Thursdays
