Emmerdale viewers are predicting who might be killed off in shocking scenes later this year.
Bosses of the ITV soap confirmed a "challenging" storyline would result in "tragedy" for one character.
Details on the plot and and the unlucky victim are being kept under wraps.
It's thought it could be linked to the escalating storyline with Paul Ashdale and Mandy Dingle.
The pair are due to get married later this year, it's been revealed, with a series of events kicking off from their storyline.
As well as a shocking abduction plot involving the Kings, it's thought the tragedy could also be linked to Paul's ongoing plot.
He's currently battling a gambling addiction, which is son Vinny is hiding after he attacked him.
So much more is yet to be revealed, and it seems it could be anyone who falls victim to the tragedy.
Taking to Twitter after the big spoilers were released, fans began speculating who the mystery victim might be.
Some even feared a shocking death was looming with a fan favourite potentially meeting their end.
One fan commented: "No vinny better not die i'm not having that?? Must be Paul then? Help."
Another agreed: "Don’t kill off vinny get rid of Paul."
A third echoed this saying: "I predict it will be Paul who dies."
But others questioned if it could be someone entirely different, with many fearing the worst for other village residents.
One viewer said: "Been wondering when someone would die. Rishi is on my list. Is he in the running?"
Another commented: "Hope it's not Nico who dies she’s an icon."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
