Emmerdale fans believe Caleb Miligan will die in shock scenes - as history "is set to repeat itself".
The ITV soap aired a big scene between Caleb and his son Nicky last night, as the latter seemed unsure about whether he really wanted to take on Kim Tate after all. We have just found out Nicky is either gay or bisexual - when he kissed his 'friend' Ally - and it looks like his dad is none the wiser about his son's sexuality.
In a tense chat last night, the pair fumed at one another, with things clearly tense between them. An angry Caleb accused Nicky of spending the night with another woman, but he furiously denied that.
"That's all you care about, isn't it? Not me," Nicky said, before adding: "I'm sick of all the lies. I can't do it anymore."
Caleb then reminded Nicky what Kim did to his father and how she had caused his death, and vowed to continue with the revenge.
One viewer shared their thoughts about the scene they'd just witnessed, writing online: "Like Frank back in 1993, Caleb is completely unaware of his son's sexuality. History repeats itself, it would seem! #TheTates #Emmerdale."
"Poor Nicky this young man has a tough relationship with his father. Nicky just wants to help his mum. Caleb obsession with getting Home Farm going to be his downfall," another viewer mused on what was to come.
A second added: "Why do I have a feeling Nicky will turn on Caleb, and tell Cain everything and that his Cain's nephew?"
"The cracks were showing last night between Nicky & Caleb & daddy doesn't know his son is gay... interesting. can definitely see Nicky turning on Caleb. #Emmerdale," a third noted - and they're convinced Nicky will turn on his dad.
It comes as soap boss Jane Hudson told The Mirror there was more to come from Caleb and Nicky, with more secrets to be revealed.
Sharing what's to come, she said: "We have revealed who Nicky is, there is still something else to find out but I'm not going to tell you. Not all the secrets have been revealed yet. There is something else we are going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky's past who turns up as well and we will be left wondering what this means for Gabby."
