Emmerdale fans praise Mandy after confrontation with Nicola

Emmerdale fans have praised Mandy Dingle for telling Nicola the truth during tonight's episode.

Yesterday's dramatic episode of the ITV soap saw Jimmy King finally admit to Nicola that he kissed Mandy behind her back.

Nicola understandably didn't take the news too well and the show ended with her kicking out Jimmy in what viewers of the show hoped would be the last time.

Tonight's episode featured a dramatic confrontation between Nicola and Mandy - who took aim at the character played by Lisa Riley for thinking it's OK to ruin someone's marriage just because she "was lonely and grieving."

When Mandy explained that "JImmy kissed" her, Nicola brutally told her she didn't believe her.

She said: "I don't believe he'd make a pass - not at you anyway. You're not his type and you're a Dingle."

That caused Mandy to erupt and she demanded she stop patronising her- before revealing some hard truths.

She said: "Dont you dare look down your snout at me young lady.

"I was the one who told him to to fight for you even when it was obvious there was nothing between you. I told him to stick it and make it work like the mug I obviously am."

She then left after Nicola erupted in tears and fans took to Twitter to say who they thought emerged victorious from the dramatic confrontation

One user said: "That’s you told Nicola, well done our Mandy #Emmerdale"

Another added: "I think Mandy won that spat…#emmerdale"

A third commented: "Mandy is bang on. Jimmy made a pass at her not the other way around. He only kissed her because he was guilty and sinking to rock bottom"

Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV and ITVHub
