Emmerdale fans spotted a major blunder after Manpreet Sharma was released from hospital in Tuesday's episode of the ITV soap.

It was thought Manpreet would succumb to her injuries, but everyone was shocked when she regained consciousness in last night's episode.

But as soon as she awoke her blood pressure increased drastically at the sight of seeing Meena in the ward in a cliff hanger ending.

However, despite her traumatic ordeal, tonight's episode saw Manpreet released from hospital as her evil sister Meena took her home with many fearing for her life.

But fans were convinced that in a real-life scenario, Manpreet would stay in the hospital for a much longer period given her injuries.

Naturally, many viewers took to social media to share their observations.

@RyanGTweetsTV said: "Manpreet was in an explosion only 3 days ago and she's already being discharged That seems too soon to me #Emmerdale"

@tamlizann tweeted: "Manpreet discharged already #Emmerdale @emmerdale"

@laurenangelama1 added: "Manpreet was in a coma yesterday now she’s going home and meena was discharged pretty quickly too. Really that wouldn’t happen in real life #Emmerdale"

While @RantyAlex agreed: "So she can't walk? Discharged without physio and OT assessment? Turns out the hospital is as incompetent as the police, ambulance, fire and the village GPs, which Manpreet supposedly is."
