Emmerdale fans all made the same point after Cathy revealed her motive for bullying April in tonight's episode

This led the character played by Gabrielle Downing to runaway from home, before she was eventually found and escorted back home by Rhona.
However, Brenda Hope refused to criticise her daughter's behaviour, which prompted Rhona to push her in anger.
Brenda has now got the police involved and this led them to question Cathy about the bullying in Friday's edition of the soap.
Cathy opened up during the interrogation - and admitted how she started the online trolling after she was jealous of the sympathy April received after her mum died.
She said: "I felt so jealous because all I wanted was for someone to ask how I was."
Donna Windsor was Cathy's sister - and she then broke down in tears to apologise for starting the bullying.
Bob Hope took sympathy with Cathy's tears and blamed himself for the saga, however viewers on Twitter didn't believe a word she was saying..
@AndyGibsonTV: "Cathy did mean it. She meant every word. Will never trust that child again.
@GrianneDoherty1: "Cathy constantly claiming she didn't mean it like that somehow totally makes it all ok & Bob just completely let's get off as always really?"
Another user added: "The only thing Cathy’s sad about is that she got caught."
@macnamara60: "Bully boy Cathy ain’t sorry. She’ll be tooled-up with DMs by next week. "
@mikepriestley13: "Cathy Just because you’re jealous you don’t bully April and say things about your niece saying about her dead mum.. disgusting."
Emmerdale airs at 7pm on weekdays on ITV and ITV Hub
