Emmerdale fans make plea to Paddy as they slam 'deluded' Chas

Paddy and Chas have continued to clash in tonight's episode of Emmerdale after Chas's affair with Al.

Chas Dingle managed to keep her affair with Al Chapman, who was murdered earlier this month, secret for a long time. But Paddy found out about his wife's affair finally last week.

Since then, the two have been at odds. In tonight's episode on Friday, December 23, Paddy stood his ground as Chas begged him to let her stay overnight so she could be with their daughter Eve on Christmas morning.

As part of their arguments in the episode, Chas said: "I never meant to hurt you, Paddy." Fans were very annoyed at Chas, and said they were happy to see Paddy stand firm after her cheating on him. @macnamara60 tweeted: "“I never meant to hurt you, Paddy.” WTAF???"

Similarly, @maitra_sulagna said: "Paddy is right. If Chas was with Al, Paddy wouldn't have been able to see Eve on Christmas day. #Emmerdale". Michelle Jones tweeted: "Chas really is deluded. She was planning to disappear with Eve not so long ago with Al without giving Paddy a second thought #Emmerdale"

And Courtney Chiellini wrote: "I'm actually enjoying Paddy's random outbursts of shouting at Chas #Emmerdale" Similarly, @KerryFr14902535 said: "I'm loving this new Paddy. Taking no messing....Good on him. Chas made her bed.....#emmerdale. @_Pixxalt said: "I actually love it when Paddy stands up for himself it's like an instant serotonin boost #emmerdale."

However, some said that Paddy should give in just so Eve could see her mum on Christmas Day. @ShakyWoon wrote: "Paddy, I appreciate you feel so hurt a betrayed by Chas and that's you're right but you shouldn't be punishing Eve by keeping Chas away on Christmas Day! #Emmerdale." And Mike Priestley said: "I do think paddy should let Chas see Eve on Christmas Day for a time. Not the child’s fault. #Emmerdale."
