Emmerdale fans left unimpressed with stunts and CGI as Super Soap Week takes dramatic turn

It has been one hell of a dramatic week in Emmerdale but some fans are a little unimpressed and underwhelmed by the action.

Many Emmerdale fans have been watching intently the villagers suffer ordeal after ordeal on an outdoor pursuits away day challenge.

Tonight’s episode concluded with Victoria Sugden, who is played by Isabel Hodgins, plummeting down a waterfall in a dramatic climax which is sure to have left Emmerdale fans wondering if the popular character survived the drop.

Although, some viewers didn’t think the stunt, and particularly the computer generated scenes, were up to scratch.

One said: “Emmerdale’s water scenes are so clearly CGI (computer generated images) and the storyline sucks.”

Another commented: “I'm just waiting for all c**p CGI to stop.”

While another added: “I’m sorry but this GCI is just rubbish.”

Ahead of this week’s action, which is part of Super Soap Week, cast and bosses from Emmerdale spoke with great excitement about the big stunts.

Emmerdale producer Kate Brooks said: "This week doesn’t just take our characters out of their comfort zones, but will actively catapult our viewers from their cosy living room chairs straight into the heart of this beautiful and very very dangerous chaos."
