Emmerdale fans in stitches after spotting 'ridiculous' private investigator blunder

Emmerdale fans couldn't stop laughing at a private investigator blunder during Friday's episode.

The show's fans swarmed to twitter to tell ITV they had really made a mess of things - saying the error was 'ridiculous'.

They couldn't help giggling that the hush-hush secret investigator was standing in full view of everyone.

The P.I. was seen taking photographs of troublesome Jimmy King, played by Nick Miles.

He was in the scrapyard and wasn't making much of an effort to hide out of sight – and didn't seem to care about being caught.

There's been some dodgy deals going on (ITV)

LeedsLive report that the show's fans "couldn't stop laughing" at the error as they were quick to point out the problem with the scene.

It came after after Aaron Dingle and Mack Boyd nicked his van for a dodgy deal involving some stolen TVs.

As they returned it to the yard, they were forced to face the wrath of the angry Jimmy.

Then the private investigator popped up leaving viewers in stitches at his "subtle as a brick" attempts to conceal his presence.

The fact the P.I. was seen just a few metres away from the trio and started taking photographs of Jimmy receiving Mack’s money prompted many to take to twitter.

One viewer said: “Can’t stop laughing at the photographer 'spying' on Jimmy in full line of sight. Also him taking notes in clear view in the Cafe. Come on! Step it up a notch!”

Another said: “As much as I realise that it's difficult with story lines due to social distancing etc, however the private investigator skit is laughable to say the very least."

But he wasn't very... private! (ITV)

A third added: “The way he had that camera out shooting away in full view was ridiculous!"

While another posted: "They must be blind not to have seen him, what a joke!"

That wasn't it, and one fan put: "Stood right in front of 3 people who never saw him nor heard him on the phone from feet away."
