Emmerdale fans in hysterics at The Woolpack's latest cost-cutting measure

Emmerdale viewers know village pub The Woolpack has endured a difficult time lately but fans have been left in hysterics by the latest cost-cutting measure.

As Emmerdale fans know, Al Chapman, played by Michael Wildman, has recently invested in the Woolpack - joining cousins Marlon and Charity Dingle overseeing it.

The investment from a new source was needed after the venue suffered financial difficulties during the coronavirus pandemic.

There’s been a lot of cutbacks since Al joined the team with Marlon regularly having his nose put out of joint by the new measures.

Tonight viewers saw Marlon, played by Mark Charnock, frustrated on the phone to a supplier because of the cheap toilet roll introduced to the loos at the Woolie.

The incident had many fans of Emmerdale laughing away with them airing their thoughts on Twitter.

One said: “Marlon is so funny getting his knickers in a twist over toilet paper.”

Another laughed: “Big roll is a number 1 priority!!”

We saw a viewer joke: “A chef in charge of ordering the bog rolls. Sounds about right for Marlon.”

Someone else said: “That's how far we’ve come - arguing about toilet roll orders.”

Another concluded: “All public toilet rolls are rubbish.”
