Emmerdale viewers have been left in shock at evil Meena Jutla’s reaction to the bridge disaster.
The ITV soap opera kicked off its Super Soap Week in style on Monday after a bridge collapsed, plunging Charles Anderson and Manpreet Sharma into the raging river below, while Victoria Sugden and David Metcalfe clung to the bridge for dear life.
Serial killer Meena had earlier sabotaged love rival Victoria’s harness for abseiling down a mountain but Victoria backed out of the activity.
However, despite the fact that Meena’s own boyfriend David is in danger, Victoria could still perish in the new disaster.
Witnessing the terrifying scenes happening on the bridge, Meena looks shocked but fascinated, saying: “Wow.”
Yet Meena then resolves to find her older sister Manpreet but not in a particularly panicked fashion.
“I need to find my sister,” she says as she stands watching the scene from the cliffside.
Meanwhile, both David and Victoria go on to fall into the raging waters below and their lives are in danger.
Thankfully, Charles and Manpreet have each survived their fall into the river - for now.
By the end of the week someone will be dead - but who will it be?
Viewers at home were horrified and amused by Meena’s cold-blooded reaction to what happened at the bridge.
One Emmerdale fan wrote on Twitter : "Meena saying wow, really?! #Emmerdale ".
A different viewer commented: "The nutters (meenas) WOW face, love it #Emmerdale ".
Meanwhile, another social media user penned: "Meena is a psychopath but why does she care about her sister? Psychopaths cannot care about anyone #emmerdale ".
Elsewhere, one person tweeted: "MEENA: "WOW..." Meena is completely euphoric staring at the rope bridge as it snapped. #Emmerdale #SuperSoapWeek ".
Finally, an Emmerdale viewer concluded: "Don't hurry yourself Meena. I mean it's only your sister you're watching being swept away. #emmerdale ".
Will Meena kill again? And, if so, will she face any consequences?
