This evening, Emmerdale viewers held back the tears as Ryan Stocks, played by James Moore, mourned the death of his adoptive mother Irene Stocks. Ryan found out over the phone which understandably left him devastated.

Ryan tried to contact his biological mother Charity Dingle but she rejected his call. Charity was busy at a play date with her ex Vanessa Woodfield, with Vanessa allowing her former partner to visit her son Johnny along with her son Moses.
