Emmerdale fans were left disappointed after the soap lost out at the National Television Awards.
The ITV show was looking to win the award for best Serial Drama for a fifth street year at Thursday's ceremony but lost out to Coronation Street.
Before the ceremony got underway fans were blown away by the looks some of the cast were sporting at the event.
The official Twitter account for the show posted pictures of the stars, with fans responding that they looked 'amazing' and 'absolutely beautiful'.
However, there some unhappy fans at the announcement that the show had lost out to Coronation Street in the category of Serial Drama, in which Eastenders and Hollyoaks were also nominated.
One fan posted: "Call the soap police want to report a robbery emmerdale was robbed ( I know I’m a bit bias) but come on HOW can emmerdale walk away without any awards after the amazing year it’s had?"

Another fan posted: "The award should have gone to Emmerdale. In my opinion by far the best soap."
One fan said he thought it must have been a close race, saying: "I was 50/50 between Corrie and Ememrdale on this award as both have had brilliant storylines for years. Must have been close."
Not everyone was surprised by the snub though, with some criticising the quality of the show over the last 12 months.
One viewer wrote: "empty handed, not surprised as the storylines have been dire."
Another said: "Corrie have ended Emmerdale's four year NTA best soap winning streak. This is officially the Emmerdale flop era!"
