Emmerdale viewers have gone wild for a side character playing a doctor as they compare him to village resident Cain Dingle.
Cain’s son has recently been sent to hospital after Ellis abandoned him and Belle in hypothermic conditions at New Year.
When Priya called for Ellis' help there was a mix up which led to young Kyle in a children's ward battling pneumonia.

And ever since Cain has been determined to get revenge on Ellis and tonight's episode saw him put pressure on fellow Dingle Marlon to evict him.
While Kyle is in hospital Moira paid him a visit which is where viewers met one of the doctors helping Kyle with his speedy recovery.
Viewers couldn’t help but point out that the doctor looked like a younger version of Cain Dingle and even pleaded with bosses to have him as a regular character on the ITV hit soap.
Emmerdale super fan Tasha Turner shared a snap of the Dr standing next to Moira on Facebook and captioned the pic: “Wow who was this Dr?! He looks like a younger version of Cain! Producers should keep him in a new character!”

Barbara White agreed: “Omg yes he actually does.” While Carol Smith commented: “Just thought the same.”
Sandra Norbury joked: “He does, only difference Cain don’t smile.”
Meanwhile during tonight's episode Cain finally got his revenge on Ellis as she left him stranded in the dark on the Yorkshire Moors with no phone or shoes.
Cain's car was seen driving onto the Moors through the fog before stopping and saying: "Get out!"
Ellis got out of the back of the car and Cain then demanded: "Give me your phone."
Ellis reluctantly handed it over but Cain wasn't done, saying: "Shoes...shoes!"
After he had taken off his footwear, Cain told him ominously: "No dad to save you now," before getting back in the car with his items and driving off.
Growing desperate, Ellis shouted: "Cain! Cain! You can't leave me!"
