Emmerdale fans were left fuming after tuning into Tuesday night's episode of the ITV soap.
The latest instalment saw Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) confront Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) about her attempts to meet up with her son Vinny.
Mandy isn't keen on Liv and Vinny getting back together, especially as Liv is battling alcoholism.
As Liv told Mandy to get out, she admitted that she felt safe with Vinny (Bradley Johnson) and loves him.
"He wants a normal life with a normal lass," Mandy told Liv, clearly making a dig at the fact that she is asexual and was never intimate with Vinny.
"Don’t you dare say this has got anything to do with my asexuality," Liv snapped back at Mandy.

Emmerdale fans tuning in at home were not impressed at all and took to Twitter to comment.
One person tweeted: "Being asexual myself I am furious at what Mandy said to Liv. So uncalled for and nasty #emmerdale."
A second wrote: "Mandy low-key shaming Liv’s Asexuality? No thank you. #Emmerdale," while a third added: "Casual bit of aphobia from Mandy there #Emmerdale."

Someone else penned: "god i hate this so much, there is nothing wrong with being asexual i hate this is probably what makes liv try and force things with jacob :( #Emmerdale."
Another viewer tweeted: "Mandy Dingle, that was wrong on so many levels!! #Emmerdale."
One fan of the ITV soap criticised the show's writers and posted: "@Emmerdale I don't know what your game is, but that line delivered by Mandy, was disgraceful!!! Have a word with your writers!! #Emmerdale."

Another fumed: "I have no words….. Yet again #Emmerdale continues to discriminate against the LGBTQ+ Community, this time with a load of Harmful Disgusting Dialogue aimed at an Asexual Character……. Emmerdale should be ashamed!!! How the hell are they getting away with this."
Someone else tweeted: "Mandy's storyline questioning Liv's sexuality is not very nice. I hope the so-called called Scriptwriters are not changing Mandy's character into Neeco's character #emmerdale."
Liv and Vinny called time on their romance following the death of his dad Paul Ashdale earlier this year.
She has since turned to the bottle and is struggling with her alcoholism, but wants Vinny to take her back.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
