Emmerdale fans are speculating whether a second character may have been hit by Jamie Tate's car, in dramatic scenes on Wednesday.
After the news that Moira would be the victim of a hit-and-run, leaving her fighting for her life in hospital, fans immediately worked out that Jamie could be the driver.
Spoilers for next week reveal his turmoil as he realises what he hit with his car was his neighbour Moira.
It's unclear why Moira was walking in the middle of nowhere in the dark - while she had broken down in her own vehicle some time earlier in the episode.
But after the person was hit and left laying in the road, fans began to question the victim's identity.
As some pointed out it had to be Moira, given the spoilers for next week, others came to a chilling theory.
They questioned whether it was really Moira after all, or maybe someone else.
The queries came after some viewers didn't think the lifeless body was wearing the same clothes Moira had on in earlier scenes.
Could there be a second victim, or is it all a red herring?
While it does seem very likely it is Moira who is struck by the car, with her found on Friday, it didn't stop fans speculating.
From Jamie's wife Andrea Tate to his new flame Belle Dingle, fans took to Twitter to suspect who it might be if it isn't Moira.
One fan said: "Wonder who Jamie has hit. Don't think its Moira as they have jeans on. She had leggings on."
Another feared: "Please tell me that wasn't Belle."
A third added: "Bet it was Andrea or Moira Jamie hit."
It comes as other fans feared Moira would die in the scenes, given Jamie was speeding at almost 90 miles per hour.
Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out if the character survives her brush with death, or if Jamie has blood on his hands.
