Emmerdale fans are panicking for Victoria Sugden after Tuesday's episode revealed that new villain Russ is in possession of a shotgun.
Russ turned up in the village last week and immediately began pressuring ex Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) for money.
Blackmailing his ex-wife, Russ has told Wendy that she needs to convince Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) to hand over her son Harry's inheritance money.
The latest episode of the ITV soap saw Russ act dumb when Victoria suggested she could help him out with his financial problems.
Wendy looked worried as Victoria said she would "sleep on it" and Russ told her he could get the legal contracts drawn up.

Minutes later, Russ was heard speaking to someone on the phone as prepared to have the false contract drawn up.
Waving at Victoria as she walked past, Russ then told the mystery person on the phone that he has a plan B as he revealed a shotgun in the boot of his car.
Emmerdale viewers were left fearing for Victoria's life, but were also feeling frustrated at her naivety.

"Come on Victoria you aren’t stupid #Emmerdale," one tweeted, while another said: "Victoria is not this f**king dumb #emmerdale."
A third viewer added: "Watch it Vic he's going to blow your brains out - though going on the way you're behaving he'll probably miss #Emmerdale."
Someone else predicted: "Russ, Wendy and Victoria isn’t gonna end well. Very soon. #emmerdale."
Another asked: "Why would Victoria offer to lend money to a man she's only known 5 minutes? #emmerdale."
Fans already think Victoria is in danger of being murdered by killer Meena Jutla after growing close to Meena's boyfriend David Metcalfe.
One tweeted: "So an armed robber and a bunny boiler killer. Poor Victoria needs me. #Emmerdale."
Spoiler images recently revealed that Victoria and Wendy will be held hostage by Russ in an upcoming episode.
The drama will unfold when Wendy goes to the Hide and tells Victoria everything about what Russ has been doing and how he has been blackmailing her with something that could ruin her life if revealed.

Before Wendy can reveal the truth, however, Russ emerges wondering where his money is.
Trapped in the Hide with Russ, Victoria shows her disgust towards Russ for what he has done to Wendy and goes to call the police on the criminal.
However, Russ reaches into his coat and withdraws the gun and holds the pair hostage.
He orders Victoria and Wendy to hand their phones over before making sure the door is secure.
Will the women make it out alive? Or will Victoria meet a sticky end at the hands of Russ instead of Meena?
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV with previous episodes available on ITV Hub.
