Emmerdale viewers have voiced concern that the cliffhanger storyline of Andrea Tate going missing will be abandoned.
Andrea vanished with her daughter Millie after it was revealed in the pub that her husband Jamie was having an affair with Belle Dingle.
Steamy texts between Jamie and Belle were displayed on a projector in front of everyone as part of Andrea's scheme to expose the affair.
But Andrea then vanished with her daughter in tow, but did not tell anybody where she was going, and she left her handbag behind.
Friday's episode was the last one filmed before the lockdown, and so next week's shows will all be special isolation episodes.
This means no shooting on locations, and Andrea was last seen by viewers in a mystery room that looked like a hotel room.
She went into the bathroom to secretly listen to Jamie's desperate voicemail begging her to get in contact with him.
So the storyline may be abandoned for a while as the special lockdown episodes are generally scenes between just two actors, in their characters' homes.
Viewers took to Twitter to voice their worries, with one writing: "Oh no what a cliffhanger I wonder what will happen now. Looks like we will have to wait untill 3 weeks time to find out. #Emmerdale ".
Another added: "Intrigued about how they're going to resolve the Andrea cliffhanger after the lockdown episodes #Emmerdale ".
Meanwhile, Jamie is being investigated by the police for his wife's disappearance, particularly after the last time they spoke, they had a huge falling out.
His mother Kim demanded to know whether he was being treated as a "person of interest", and the police officer replied that they would be following up all lines of enquiry at this point.
Could Andrea be framing Jamie?
