Emmerdale fans fear Belle Dingle will be abused by Jamie as he turns her against family

Emmerdale fans were left very worried about Belle Dingle as she appeared to start displaying signs that she is struggling due to Jamie Tate's manipulation.

Over the last month, viewers have watched as Jamie's intentions towards Belle have twisted, even using her mental health against her when battling against her family members.

But tonight, things turned even darker when Jamie persuaded Belle to turn against her family and move in with him.

Emmerdale fans were baffled over 'smug' Belle and Jamie's bizarre exchange with Nate (ITV)

Her brother Sam tried to get her to see sense and dump cheating scumbag Jamie, but she agreed with her lover when he fired Sam on the spot.

Later, she turned up at the Dingle household, who were concerned that she wasn't taking her medication.

But she insisted that she was and that she was moving out, regardless of what they said.

Emmerdale's Cain Dingle was furious to learn about Belle dating Jamie Tate (ITV)

The Dingles were stunned that she was turning against her family and she herself seemed upset over the prospect.

She tearfully told Jamie, who appeared to be faking concern for her situation as he said: "Belle, they still treat you like the baby of the family. You had to stand up to them.

"I bet they'll respect you more now and have to accept it, won't they? You and me."

But Belle replied: "Once you turn against them, that's it. You're out.

"Trust me, they'll never forgive me for this."

*Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV
