Emmerdale fans believe they have worked out a jaw-dropping DNA twist for Sandra Flaherty’s character on the Dales, as she might not be all she’s pretending to be.
Liv’s mum returned to the village earlier this year in the hopes of swindling her daughter out of her inheritance money.
Her sinister plan has seen her scheming behind the scenes to split up her daughter Liv and Vinny Dingle’s marriage.
She has even taken to setting up Liv in a cruel plot to encourage her back to drinking, which she has previously struggled with.
Eagle-eyed Emmerdale viewers now think they have rumbled a key DNA twist, suggesting that Sandra isn’t Liv’s biological mother after all, but has simply been posing as such to get closer to her.
Taking to Facebook, one fan of the ITV soap wrote: “Don’t know if this is the truth but I heard a while back that Aaron comes back and exposes Sandra as she’s not really Liv’s mum!”
Another quickly agreed: “Yes, Aaron susses her out trying to fleece his sister. Can’t wait for her to leave!”
Someone else posted: “Oh wow, I hope it’s true – can’t wait for that!”
This comes after Emmerdale fans pointed out a flaw in Liv’s plot to steal the house and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "How can she sell the house when Aaron owns half of it, please don't let this storyline drag on let her be found out and bin off this annoying pointless character."
"Have the writers forgotten it’s half Aaron’s house – there wouldn’t be able to do anything without him," a second fan added.
Aaron Dingle is back next month as Danny Miller makes his return, but his storyline is being kept a closely guarded secret.
A third viewer penned: “Sooner Aaron's back to utterly destroy her the better. Poor naïve Liv never should of given her the benefit of the doubt in the first place sadly.
“Where the hell are all the Dingle's with their so called 'Family loyalty' when she needs support/looking out for?" as a fourth shared: "Aaron get a wiggle on and save Liv.”
"Absolutely hate Liv's mam thank god Aaron is coming back hell see her off Emmerdale," another wrote, as a fifth shared: "Mother of the year Sandra is not what a vile human being she is all to get her own daughter £££ come back Aaron."
