Emmerdale fans nearly didn't recognise a character who returned to the soap tonight after a short break.
Following Al's lies being unravelled, he told his son Ellis of his plans to move to Belfast.

Distraught by his father's actions, Ellis lashed out at Marlon's daughter April.
April, played by Amelia Flanagan, has been at home with her soap star sister and brother Isabella and William during the coronavirus pandemic.
The three siblings, who star in Coronation Street and Emmerdale, are have been homeschooled by their mum, Rachel.
But tonight, April was back in Emmerdale - and fans couldn't believe how much older she looked.
