Emmerdale fans were devastated tonight after dying Lisa Dingle was jilted at the altar.
There were worrying signs throughout the episode that Zak wasn't ready to get married - and he ended up running out of the church.
The blushing bride eventually made her way up the aisle following an unfortunate accident with some escaped pigs.
Lisa and Cain, who was giving her away, were covered in mud after falling over while getting the mischievous pigs back in their pen.
The gathered congregation burst out laughing, while anxious Zak gave his bride a nervous looking smile.
Harriet Finch explained that the couple wanted minimal fuss and would be going straight into exchanging their vowels.
Emotional Lisa, who does not have long left to live, said: "You’ve been my rock, sometimes, and you’ve been the thorn in my side.
"You made me cry more than anyone in the world but you’ve also brought me the most joy. And that what I feel standing here, joy, because I know I’ve got you forever.
"And you’ve got me. Even though my forever might not be very long anymore."
With some of the guests in tears, Harriet turned to Zak and asked him to say his vowels.
When his son and best man, Sam, told his dad it was his turn, Zak said: "I can't."
"Of course you can," replied Sam, but tearful Zak turned around and dashed out of the church.
Debbie Dingle and some of the other guests were left in tears.
While poor Lisa was left standing at the front on her own.

Emmerdale fans took to Twitter after watching the heartbreaking scenes.
One viewer said: "OMG, Zak jilted Lisa at the wedding!"
"Poor lisa and zak so heartbreaking," added another.
A third said: "Aww Lisa and Zak! This is all quite moving!"
