Emmerdale fans devastated as Charity cancels wedding to Vanessa 'to kill Graham'

Emmerdale fans were super excited during Wednesday's episode, as Charity Dingle revealed her surprise wedding plans for fiancée Vanessa Woodfield.

The character has been secretly planning their big day and hadn't even told her children about it.

But Graham Foster caused drama for Charity yet again ahead of his brutal murder, spelling heartache on her wedding day.

After forcing her son Ryan to transfer money from Kim Tate's account to his, Graham turned nasty when he refused to repeat the action.

Charity was worried where her son had gotten to as they prepared to leave for the registry office.

Ryan had been locked in a shed, and when Charity found out the truth she swore revenge.

Attacking him in the village, she fought back for Ryan, Noah and even Debbie and promised to make him pay.

Later, as Charity took Ryan home she had to let bride-to-be Vanessa down.

Vanessa had called her asking why she was taking so long, with Charity confessing she was going to have to cancel their big day.

Her girlfriend was devastated and begged her not to let her down, wanting the wedding to go ahead.

But a revenge fuelled Charity told her sorry, she'd made her mind up, before hanging up.

Unable to let go her hatred for Graham, she tended to Ryan before telling him that Graham had to pay for what he'd done to her family.

It's then that the scene panned over to Graham's death, with him seemingly thrown off a bridge or rock edge.

Charity's car was then seen in the distance, as she made her way towards what seemed to be the crime scene - only for son Ryan to appear standing on said bridge.

The pair then agreed they had "no regrets" over something they were hiding.

So have they killed Graham, or are they somehow involved?

One gutted fan said: "There was absolutely NO need for Charity to cancel her Wedding, Ryan's completely fine."

Another tweeted: "Don't do it Charity."

Others hoped it would mean another wedding down the line, and that Vanessa would understand.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
