Manpreet is currently being held captive by her estranged sister and serial killer Meena Jutla and fans are calling for the return of one character to rescue her.
Viewers want to see Manpreet's daughter Aiesha return to the village to help her mother.
Despite being an instant hit with viewers, Aiesha's character left the Dales only weeks after arriving, Birmingham Live reports.

Actress Shila Iqbal, who played Aiesha Richards, was axed from Emmerdale following a series of historic tweets containing "racist and homophobic" terms.
ITV bosses made the decision to instantly drop the actress after the social posts containing the N-word surfaced.
Iqbal, 24, posted the tweets six years ago while she was still at college aged 19 at the time.
An emotional Iqbal has since appeared on This Morning to apologise for her actions.
Speaking to ITV hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield at the time, she said: “I think ITV have a moral obligation to do what’s right by the public and I respect their decision.”
The actress continued: “But I do question is it fair that I’m being judged on something I did as a teenager if we look at the context and the intentions, I wasn’t hurling abuse at anyone.”
Following the controversy Aiesha was swiftly written out of the show, however, the character is still mentioned regularly.
Viewers will know that Meena is planning to kill off her sister Manpreet after confessing to murdering Leanna, Ben, Andrea and former friend Nadine.
Aiesha was referenced in the episode after Rishi Sharma called her to make contact with Manpreet after Meena lied that her sister was in Ibiza.
During a tense scene between Meena and Manpreet, Aiesha was mentioned again as she attempted to call Meena with Manpreet urging her sister to reassure her daughter.
The scenes have left fans wondering if Aiesha could be recast and return.
Deluca Evans wrote: "i wonder if they will bring back aiesha i am surprised they havent recast by now."
Grianne Doherty said: "Manpreet's Daughter Aiesha returns to save her Mother in yet another desperate twist potentially, especially now Rishi knows she never actually made it as far as Ibiza?"
Ryan Glendenning commented: "I hope Aisha comes back to the save Manpreet."
