Emmerdale fans were over the moon to see one of the main characters return tonight.
Aaron Dingle has been absent from the soap following the introduction of a new love interest.
Ben, a kayak instructor at Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits, centre caught the eye of Aaron but was insulted that he didn't remember him.

He explained that they didn't get along when they were kids and Aaron had made his life hell as a teenager, taunting him and bullying him for being gay.
After Aaron apologised, the pair went to the pub, but Aaron had an altercation with Ben’s friend.
This comes after Aaron received a letter confirming his divorce from Robert Sugden had been finalised.
Liv tried to convince her brother that Ben seems a decent guy - but Aaron hasn't been seen on screen since.
However, after nearly a month, Aaron was back - even if it was just a fleeting scene in the cafe.
But fans were delighted nonetheless, with many taking to Twitter.
