Emmerdale fans delighted as Kerry Wyatt returns - but all say same thing about storyline

Emmerdale fans are delighted at the return of Kerry Wyatt – even if she was holding a toilet brush.

Kerry left the show abruptly in June 2020 but the fiery character reappeared to disturb Charity and Mackenzie as they burgled Chloe's house.

Laura Norton, 38, had temporarily left the soap on maternity leave.

Jonny posted: "So glad Kerry is back!"

Selina commented: "Kerry is stunning even in a cleaning outfit."

And Ben Church summed it up in three words: "#Emmerdale bog brush."

Kerry and her daughter Amy were responsible for the sweet factory fire that killed Frank Clayton.

Ryan Glendenning: "I'm pleased that Kerry is back. I just hope that Frank gets justice though after his tragic death."

But other viewers mocked the implausible burglary plot.

Chris Henderson commented: "Who is writing this s***? Why is Kerry a cleaner and why has she been in hiding?"

Reece Carter posted: "This storyline makes no sense."

And Terri Woods commented: "What past [sic] of burgling a house – let alone the house of the person who died and had her heart donated to your grandchild – was considered a great and amusing storyline idea?"
