Emmerdale viewers are convinced we are soon set to welcome back a soap favourite after a three-year absence.
Joe Tate, played by Ned Porteous, left the village after he discovered soap villain Kim Tate, portrayed by Claire King, was trying to kill him.
Now, Emmerdale viewers believe the character might be making a return, thanks to a mysterious scene at the end of Tuesday’s episode.

As fans will know, it finished with an unseen person watching Gabby Thomas. Of course, it could signal the return of Jamie Tate (sorry, so many Tates!) who has not been seen since crashing his car into a lake.
But some viewers believe it might actually be Joe Tate. They took to Twitter to air their thoughts.
