Emmerdale fans convinced Cain Dingle is Graham Foster's killer after clash

Emmerdale potentially teased a new suspect on the ITV soap on Wednesday, in the Who Killed Graham Foster? storyline.

Seven suspects are currently in the frame, including Charity Dingle, Marlon Dingle, Jai Sharma, Al Chapman, and Kim, Jamie and Andrea Tate.

So far viewers have seen Jai, Al, Kim and Charity's movements on the day of the murder, as well as their motives for the crime.

But viewers are growing convinced no named suspect is the killer after recent scenes.

In fact, one character in particular has popped up twice now amid showdowns between Graham and his suspected killers - Cain Dingle.

On Tuesday, he offered Jai Sharma a lift into town after he vented about Graham stealing his car.

Then in the latest episode, he furiously pulled Graham off his ex Charity as the pair came to blows.

Charity shouted that she didn't need his help, but Cain wasn't prepared to let Graham harm her.

She had been confronting him over his humiliation of her disabled son Ryan, picking him up and locking him in a shed knowing he couldn't get out, after he refused to continue helping him steal money from Kim.

She also hated him for his meddling in the lives of her other children Noah and Debbie.

But as she continued to push him, Graham turned nasty and pinned her against the wall.

It's then that, a day after seeing Cain in scenes with Jai, he stepped in to defend Charity and told Graham if he touched her again he was "dead".

As the scenes aired, viewers took to Twitter to question whether he could be a surprise suspect - or maybe even the killer.

They do have a past after all, with Graham once making Cain think he'd killed Joe Tate.

One fan said: "'Touch her again & your dead' So maybe it's Cain that kills Graham?"

Another tweeted: "this episode is so much better than ydays! Charity is amazing!!! Wouldn’t surprise me of Cain did it."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
