Emmerdale fans have been left with questions after a heartwarming scene between Andrea Tate and new love interest Charles Anderson.
Charles was seen revealing his past to Andrea over a drink on Wednesday night's episode.
Earlier on in the week, it had been the anniversary of the day his son Ethan's mother walked out on them.
Charles told Andrea that the occasion was the reason he didn't want to go for a drink with her before and his confession has sparked speculation amongst viewers that there may be more to the story.

With some viewers even fearing he could have killed his ex partner and mother of his child.
After rearranging, the pair confided in each other as they shared their experiences with being walked out on over a bottle of wine.
Andrea made a comment that got some viewers talking, while others wondered if she was speaking about ex-husband Jamie Tate.
She told Charles that she knew all about being walked out on by a parent and not knowing why they were not good enough.
Andrea's back story has barely been explored by the ITV soap and the character has never really mentioned her parents before.
While some fans presumed she was referring to Jamie cheating on her, and betraying their young daughter Millie, others wondered if there was more to her comment.
Taking to Twitter, viewers questioned whether Andrea could be the secret daughter of two past villagers, and whether she was hiding a secret identity.
There was one character in particular that was named by fans, as they questioned if Andrea might actually be Alice Bates, the daughter of Nick Bates and Elsa Feldmann.
Alice had a parent walk out on her when she was young when mother Elsa left the village, leaving Nick to raise her alone.
Nick was later sent to prison after accidentally killing a man named Jed and Alice was placed in the care of his sister, Kathy.
The last time Alice was heard of was back in 2001, with it revealed she was living in Australia with her mother, Nick would also be out of prison by now too.
Emmerdale Fans shared their theories on social media.
One fan asked: "Could Andrea really, possibly be Alice Bates?"
A second tweeted: "She must be around Alice's age...which would work.."
A third added: "I thought that a while ago, then I was like no it can’t be!!xxx."
It could be quite the shocking plot twist if Andrea was in fact Alice or could it just be that fans are simply hoping for the return of past characters?
