Emmerdale fans were left in tears as Aaron Dingle actor Danny Miller exited the ITV soap tonight.
Aaron has been struggling to cope following the shock death of his partner Ben at the hands of evil serial killer Meena - and his exit scenes aired on Monday night, leaving fans devastated as Danny bows out of the show.
And the show's loyal viewers took to Twitter to confess they couldn't stop crying as Danny's final scenes aired.
Aaron has been finding it difficult after Ben's murder and in some of his final scenes, he came face-to-face with Liv to say what seemed like a goodbye as he told her they bring each other down, and that he can't stand by her any longer.
Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the scene, with one writing: "Omg just cried my eyes out watching Aaron leave. Gutted you have left @DannyBMiller @emmerdale won't be the same without you, thank you for giving us 13 years of Aaron."
A second added: "I cried tonight when Aaron left @emmerdale @ITV," with a third sharing: "Even though I've been prepared for Aaron's exit, and understand Danny's decision, I'm still an emotional wreck. Goodbye Aaron Dingle."
Others were looking forward to seeing Danny on their screen again in just a matter of hours as he is currently starring on ITV show I'm A Celebrity, as one user added: "So sad to see Aaron leave @emmerdale, why is it always the good ones leave. Not long to wait till we see @DannyBMiller in @imacelebrity, can’t wait."
It comes after Danny admitted he was "very emotional" about his Emmerdale exit.
Speaking to the Mirror at a press roundtable event last month, he said: "I'd like to think that I'm very, very far away from Aaron and that's part of the reason why I wanted to do this. I've actually left Emmerdale and I've decided to start a new path in life.
"I've got my baby now and I'm getting married next year and it's felt like the right time to open a new chapter in my life - god, my nerves are going because I've not really told anybody!"
He added: "I'm very emotional about it, actually. It's been a massive part of my life and it's taught me lots of things.
"I've been wanting to spread my wings for a while and a show like this gives me the opportunity to see what else happens after it and kind of start a new life with my family and see what happens."
