Emmerdale viewers have called for an end to the ITV soap's current storyline, involving serial killer Meena Jutla.
While some viewers are onboard with the dark plot and psychotic Meena, others want her to be killed off as soon as possible.
With ITV soap spoilers hinting the plot and her crimes could run into 2022, many fans believe it has gone on long enough.
Recent scenes saw the plot take an even darker turn, and she is currently holding her injured sister Manpreet Sharma hostage.
Fans are comparing the plot to past storylines, as well as the movie Misery, while Meena is plotting the demise of her sibling.

Not knowing if and when Meena will be exposed and if justice will be served for her victims, fans have started calling for the end of the storyline.
So far she has killed Andrea Tate, Ben Tucker, Nadine and Leanna Cavanagh, while she tried to murder Victoria Sugden, Princess the dog and now Manpreet.
It's also teased Vinny Dingle might be in danger as he starts to look into recent events, but whether she will kill again remains to be seen.

Viewers don't want another victim though, and instead want the next village death to be Meena.
One fan said on Twitter : "Get rid of Meena now, really dragging her storyline out too long now."
Another agreed: "Can # Emmerdale Please k i l l off Meena?! Its ridiculous now how evil she sinks and how no one suspects her obvious creepy narcissistic temperament!"

A third commented: "Nothing viewers love more than a ridiculous storyline being s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out and done to death until they can't be bothered watching anymore and turn off.
"Is this really your intention #emmerdale? Do any of the production crew actually read these comments? Enough Meena!"
This was echoed by a fourth viewer who tweeted: "I can't handle watching #Emmerdale anymore this Meena story line is just going on too long now does she have superhuman powers or something."
Meanwhile a fifth fan commented: "Can someone let me know when this awful Meena storyline is over and it's safe to watch Emmerdale? Hope it's before 2023."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
